1. The Annual RBC Cup Tournament is a season-long cumulative competition conducted throughout the entire AZSGA schedule. AZSGA members competing in the RBC Cup Tourney are required to post a minimum of SIX (6) rounds in order to qualify for any prize money based upon their final standing within their RBC Cup Flight. The FINAL RBC CUP ROUND of the 2026-2027 season will be April 5, 2027 at Rio Verde Country Club. Immediately following this round final results and recognition of all players earning prize money will be announced at the RBC Cup Awards Dinner. AZSGA Members are encouraged to play in as many scheduled events in order to maximize their chances of posting their SIX (6) best rounds from the total number of rounds played. RBC Cup scoring and final standings will be determined by each competitor's cumulative Stableford Scoring Points in their SIX (6) BEST posted events, plus (if applicable) any participation points earned from competing in a 7th, 8th or 9th event.

2. There is NO entry fee to compete in the RBC Cup Tournament.

3. The RBC Cup will be composed of THREE (3) Flights, depending on the total # of competitors. Once an AZSGA Member registers to play in their first event they will be assigned to a specific RBC Cup Flight and informed as to which flight they have been assigned prior to participating in their first round. Each RBC Cup competitor will remain in their specific flight regardless of any change to their AZSGA handicap occurring during the course of the 2026-2027 season. The only impact a change in handicap during the course of the 2026-2027 season would have for any RBC Cup competitor would be in relation to their Stableford scoring point total for a specific event.

4. The RBC Cup Tournament is a POINT BASED SCORING competition. Competitors earn points by:

a. PERFORMANCE POINTS EARNED based upon the Stableford Scoring Point System. Click on the link to read about the SSPS.

b. REMEMBER: The MAX SCORE PER HOLE REMAINS AT NET DOUBLE BOGEY. Once a competitor reaches that score he is to PICK UP, thereby promoting PACE OF PLAY!

5. Recording scores during play will still be done through the Golf Games Keeper app. Score reconciliation is to be accomplished at the conclusion of each round per the manual scorecard.

6. Prize Money Payouts for each flight are based on the following criteria:

a. FINAL PLACE in each flight standings (a maximum of 10 places will be paid depending on the total number of players within each flight)

b. Each competitor earning prize money has participated in the required SIX (6) RBC Cup Events.

c. In the event of a tie between competitors at any placement in the flight standings, prize money allocated for those places will be split among the tied competing players.

7. RBC Cup Tournament Points/Scores will be posted on the AGA Sr. Golf Association website within 72 hours of each AZSGA Event conclusion. It is the responsibility of each RBC Cup competitor to review their posted points/score to ensure accuracy. Competitors have 1 week following each AZSGA Event (except the April 5 Finals) to request a point/score calculation correction if they think an inaccurate RBC Cup score/points was posted; such requests are to be submitted to the Rules Committee.

8. The amount of prize money paid out PER FLIGHT PER PLACE IN THE FINAL STANDINGS will be determined by the number of competitors participating within each flight. The AGA Sr. Golf Association Board anticipates that the RBC CUP TOTAL PRIZE POOL among all 3 flights will be close to $10,000.00.

9. At the conclusion of each competitor's round players within each foursome must attest to their partner's score. Scorecards must be turned in after the player’s round to Scott Thompson/Joe Smith or their designee.

10. The AZSGA reserves the right to create foursomes (pairings) for all AZSGA Events. The AZSGA will pair players together as best as possible according to the RBC Cup Flight to which they have been assigned. The AZSGA will take into consideration individual member requests to be paired with preferred playing partners.

11. Any “Rules of Play” questions/concerns a competitor may have during the course of an AZSGA round should be taken to the RBC Cup Rules Committee.

12. Each new AZSGA Member will receive a complimentary RBC Cup Golf Cap courtesy of RBC.

13. The goals of the RBC Cup Tournament as established by the AZSGA Board are:
